What do we do in SM?

Vi i Studiemästeriet är Sektionens mest studiemotiverade gäng – och vi brinner för att sprida studiemotivation och inspiration bland K-sektionens medlemmar! Bland annat ordnar vi studiekvällar med olika teman där det ofta bjuds på mumsig mat, temaveckor och inspirerande eller lärorika föreläsningar och workshops kopplade till utbildningen. Vi anordnar även bokbytarbord några gånger om året för att Sektionsmedlemmarna ska kunna köpa begagnad kurslitteratur och spara både pengar och miljö!

In the Study Committee, only fantasy limits the type of study related events we create. All posts are involved in and learn how to plan events to the vastly appreciated study nights. In the Study Committee you’ll be part of a very cozy committee that plans events and cooks together!

Head of the Study Committee

As Head of the Study Committee, I’m responsible for the Committee’s activities and economy, I make sure all the work is done and I account for the administration. I plan and lead the Committee’s meetings and coordinate the Study Committee’s activities with the rest of the Guild through the Council where all Head of Committees meet. Apart from that, I have an overall responsibility and a thorough insight in the events that the Committee is arranging, and I take care of a lot of the administrative things such as booking, sending posters to the print and making sure the events are within the budget.

Som utskottsledare förväntas man lägga ner mycket tid på sin post. Till exempel är det Nämndmöten eller Protokollmöten man förväntas närvara på cirka en gång varannan vecka. Men i gengäld får man lära dig mer om ledarskap och att ta ansvar för en grupp, planering, kommunikation och samarbete!

Event Creator of the Study Committee

As Event Creators of the Study Committee we’re accountable for planning and setting up study related events for the Guild’s members. It could be anything from inspirational lectures to a crash course in Excel or Matlab. The sky's the limit! When we don’t plan events we help the rest of the committee to plan and set up for example study nights or book exchange tables.

As Event Creator of the Study Committee you learn to plan both small and big events. Above all else, you learn to plan food purchases and to cook for many people. As Event Creators, we find it very motivating to get on from the idea stage of an event to carry out the event together with the rest of the committee. That’s a great feeling!

Vi studiejoner hjälper resten utskottet planera och genomföra event, studiekvällar och bokbytarbord. Posten som studiejon är väldigt fri, och det är mycket upp till en själv hur mycket tid man vill lägga ner, hur mycket ansvar man vill ta och vilka idéer man vill förverkliga. Som medlem i Studiemästeriet förväntas man dock planera, hjälpa till med och närvara på studiekvällar. Dessutom uppskattas alltid kreativa idéer på inspirationsevent eller teman till studiekvällarna!
