What are we doing in The Corporate Relations Committee?

We in The Corporate Relations Committee arrange all different types of corporate events, such as lunch lectures, case nights and corporate visits. We communicate and keep in contact with both old and new corporations who have an interest in cooperating with the Guild. Together with The Career Fair Committee, The Corporate Relations Committee creates the link between the students and corporate world and we are the face of the Guild towards the corporate world.

You will get a unique opportunity to create contacts with all types of corporations in The Corporate Relations Committee, contacts which you will get great use of in your professional career. You will also get a good insight into how different companies are structured and learn how to communicate with them in an efficient and professional manner. Beyond this, you will also get the opportunity to get to know new people in the Guild! No earlier experiences are necessary in order to be able to join The Corporate Relations Committee.

Head of Corporate Relations

As the Head of Corporate Relations, I lead the committee’s work and have the main responsibility. I arrange and take part in meetings with corporations, organize different types of events for the Guild together with the Corporate Relations Contacts continuously over the year and plan our own meetings within the committee. I’m also responsible for the continuous contact with the committees that wish to initiate company outreach or sponsorship deals, with the exception of the Introduction Committee and the Career Fair Committee. As the head of a Committee, I also am a part of the Committee Council and I am responsible for the Committees budget.

As the Head of Corporate Relations I am learning how to lead a committee, make budgets, attest and how to communicate with corporations in the best way. I create many valuable contacts in the corporate world with potential employers in my future career.

Vice Head of Corporate Relations

As the Vice Head of Corporate Relations, I work closely with the Head of Corporate Relations. Where I assist, exchange ideas, and participate in decision-making. I organize and attend meetings with companies, coordinate company events within the guild alongside the committee, and plan our own committee meetings. Part of my work involves coordinating the committee and supporting the Corporate Relation Contacts in their tasks.

In my role as Vice Head of Corporate Relations I am learning to plan, budget, conduct meetings, and communicate with companies effectively. I create many valuable contacts in the corporate world with potential employers in my future career.

Corporate Relations Contact

We who are Corporate Relations Contacts work together with the Head of the Corporate Relations to plan events with companies over the year. We take care of the contact with new corporations and work to maintain our relationship with old corporations. We propose different events which the companies can cooperate in and make a more detailed plan before an event.

As Corporate Relations Contact, you will learn how to in the best way come in contact with a corporation. The role of Corporate Relations Contact comes with responsibility and can take up a lot of time, but it is also a highly rewarding role with all the new connections you will create within the corporate world. You will also learn a lot about the personal responsibility in communicating with the respective companies.
